We are also always looking for foster homes, in the event the dog is not a perfect match for your home, you will still be able to help out a pug in need by giving them love and affection in the waiting period of their life.

One By One..

One by one, they pass my cage,
A little old dog, arthritic with age.
Way past his prime, can't run and can’t play.
They shake their heads slowly and go on their way.

I once had a home, I once had a bed,
A place that was warm, and where I was fed.
Now my muzzle is gray, and my eyes slowly fail.
Who wants a dog so old and so frail?

My family decided I didn't belong,
I got in their way, my attitude was wrong.
Whatever excuse they made in their head,
Can't justify how they left me for dead.

When I had come to the end of my rope,
You looked at my face, and I finally had hope.
You saw thru the gray, and the legs bent with age,
And felt I still had life beyond this cage.

You took me home, gave me food and a bed,
And shared your own pillow with my poor tired head.
We snuggle and play, and you talk to me low,
You love me so dearly, you want me to know.

I may have lived most of my life with another,
But you outshine them all with a love so much stronger.
And I promise to return all the love I can give,
To you, my dear person, as long as I live.

I may be with you for a week, or for years,
We will share many smiles, you will no doubt shed tears.
And when the time comes that God deems I must leave,
I know you will cry and your heart, it will grieve.

And when I arrive at the Bridge, all brand new,
My thoughts and my heart will still be with you.
And then I will brag to all who will hear,
Of the person who made my last days so dear.

This little 5-6 year old was found wandering, she is a great little girl on her way to a full recovery, but we still need help! Don't forget all of your support is needed and we are counting on it. Please help us save the life of this and all the rest of our little angels.

Ginger will be ready to be placed in a home in a month or so.

Harry & Joey

These two have come to us from a great home. The unfortunate truth is their loving mama has passed away and they are now in need of new forever homes.

They are older boys, Harry (Prozac) is 13 and Joey (Zoloft) a young 11, this is true,

but they can give you a lifetime of love, just like the young one can. In life there are no guarantees. Will you take a chance at love?

These 2 boys are doing great with their foster mama, she's happy to take care of them for as long as they are with us. They need meds and extra care, can you find it in your heart to donate  too help us help them? Remember no donation is too small.

Update on Harry & Joey

Harry and Joey are doing great in there foster home. We know it's hard to place the older one, so for now, and it seems until they pass over the rainbow bridge, they will live out their lives with us. We need your help. Please find it in your hearts to donate? we desperately need your help. Without the help of donations from you, we cannot help these babies.

The pugs above are available for adoption, they have all been spayed or neutered, micro chipped, current on vaccines, and have been heart worm tested.  Our pugs have been seen by a vet and have been treated for any known illness. All proceeds from adoptions go back to Planet Pugs to pay for vet bills, food, and all other costs associated with rescue. Planet Pugs works with the BOSTON TERRIER RESCUE of Florida, Inc . who are a not-for-profit rescue organization dedicated to helping care for and rescuing boston terriers and are mentoring us to help and care for pugs in need, specifically in, but not limited to Delray Beach, Florida. and Central Florida Pug Rescue.

Due to the rising cost of healthcare for the dogs, Rescue is unable to make ends meet. WE are falling further into debt addressing the MANY medical issues which can not wait for treatment. It is our hope that this adoption fee will help us gain a small amount of revenue to pay toward our bills so we can remain in good standing with your healthcare providers.
